Marrylicious - A Great Wedding Gift Idea Wedding Season Is Just Around The Corner!
April 27th, 2009
Marrylicious is a Korean-American owned business concept that was developed by co-founders, Heather Kleiner and Juliana Wong on their plight to solving the problem of starvation and unexpected mishaps on a busy bride’s wedding day.
It seems to happen quite often. The bride is preparing all morning for the moment of her life and she suddenly realizes that not only does she have a stain on her gown, but her stomach is starting to growl! It’s time for Marrylicious to come to the rescue!
What exactly is Marrylicious? It’s a perfect wedding gift that any bridesmaid, family member or friend can give to the bride at the beginning of her special day. Or for the romantic groom, it’s a great way to show how much you care and start off a life of wedded bliss on the right footing. Each Marrylicious package is equipped with top quality foods: Bare Fruits dried fruit, Beechers cheeses and crackers, Nune Farms almonds, gourmet salami, Sweet Miniature cookies, premium still and sparkling water, juice and wine - stuff that can be eaten without making a mess. It also comes with a Tide stick to erase that unsightly blemish on that wedding gown! The “survival kit” includes mints, dental products, the much needed tissue, and even a sewing kit! Even more, all the products are beautifully packaged and environmentally friendly.
Your wedding day is an event of a lifetime. Don’t take it for chance. Include an elegant Marrylicious gourmet package on your special day or share the love and order one for a friend!

After a wonderful engagement and after having a moment to catch her breath, Lucy realizes that she has a long list of people to contact and break the fabulous news. Just the thought of planning a wedding causes flutters of butterflies in Lucy’s stomach and also creates anxiety at every turn. Where to begin? First, traditionally when announcing an engagement you must decide if you want to mail announcements to your friends and family or publish an announcement in your local newspaper (or national newspaper). But as a tech savvy girl, Lucy resorted to announcing her engagement via email. Lucy created a cute wedding webite for herself and Mark and filled the announcement with personal greetings and thank you’s. Lucy sent an email to her family and closest friends including a link to the wedding webstie. But there were far more people to tell the great news to, so….why not throw a fabulous fiesta to celebrate, which is a great contemporary way to announce an engagement. The announcement party doubled as an engagement party and was just an excuse to get Lucy and Mark’s closet friends together, have drinks and make memories! Lucy was sure to keep the announcement under wraps until the big moment when Mark asked the crowd of friends to lift their glasses with him and Lucy as he screamed, “We’re in love and we’re engaged!” The screams, laughter and joy that followed filled the room and filled their hearts.

Alas! All of Lucy’s dreams came to fruition with the utterance of four little words…”Will you marry me?” She knew the day was coming soon, but when it happened she was sent into a whirlwind of emotions. For the past few months Mark had dropped little hints that perked her suspicions and she found herself preparing for him to pop the question. But she had no idea that four little words would complete her…”I’m so happy” is what she thinks to herself as she admires her newly acquired 2 carat princess cut, tension set engagement ring. It’s perfect and it came from the perfect guy…Stay tuned to follow our very own Marrylicious bride as Lucy recovers from the excitement of her engagement and plans for her big wedding day. Discover all the up and coming vendors that Lucy chooses for her own wedding and all the newest trends from invitations to wedding favors and everything in between!

Going “Green”. Is it a trend, a fad or a sensible social movement? Whatever it may be, it can make a wedding day ever more special. Lately, many socially conscious businesses have pushed for a greener way of doing things. So why not your wedding day as well.
Going green doesn’t have to be a hit on your pocket book or your budget. You can come up with creative ways to show your “green-ness” by including the following trends to your wedding:
Reception: Serving organic foods at your reception can be a delicious and nutritious hit. For local organic food vendorswww.localharvest.org This websites lists a ton of restaurants that serve organic food as well as other local organic vendors and products.
Flowers: Organically grown flowers bloom with just as much brilliance as their pesticide counterparts. Include organically grown cut flowers to brighten up your wedding. Another thought would be to transfer some of the flowers used during the ceremony to your reception site so the brilliance can be everlasting. TerraBella Flowers www.terrabellaflowers.com arranges beautiful organic wedding bouquets.
Invitations: Many specialty paper companies have collections that include recycled paper products. This would be a thoughtful touch in which to present your special date. BSD Studio www.bsdstudio.com offers a wide variety of recycled papers for invitations, napkins, etc.
Favors: Why not spread the love with delicate packages of seeds, seedlings of your fav tree or a donation to a favorite charity in the name of your guest.
One of the most important facets to a Green Wedding is to keep your smile going. Nothing is more organic than a happy bride and a exquisite smile.
